About Me

I'm a 21 year old Texan currently working on a MDiv Seminary Degree . I focus more on the pastoral care side of ministry, and am more into loving folks than judging them. I just really love people and enjoying hearing about others ideas on life. I am a licensed minister, so I do the occasional church service, but right now I'm really focused on my education. While my faith will certainly be reflected in the opinions expressed in my posts, this post is meant to be a sort of escape from all the religious debate/discussion I'm involved in daily. Just finished my B.A. last May and I'm excited to be challenged by this next step in my education. However, I'm not really sure what the future holds, so I'm living life to the fullest each day!

Chilling at Baylor with Janet.
My mother passed away when I was 8, so my two younger sisters, (H & S) and I were raised by my Dad. He is one of my heros for having raised three daughters all on his own. It hasn't always been easy, but I can how it's shaped and molded my life. I also have a wonderful "adopted family" from my church's adopt-a-student-ministry. They have been a true blessing and have taught me much about life and family. My goal is to be able to use the experiences of my life to help others overcome their difficulties. I'm always open to a good discussion, and love to learn about other's thoughts and beliefs.

My mind's always spinning, so I hope through this blog I can get some of the thoughts down on paper (so to speak) and out of my sleepless mind.  I've never really considered myself a writer, but I enjoy it quite a bit, and writing helps to give some focus to the random ruminations of my mind.

I love to play disc golf in my spare time, and also have been known to phool around with a camera some as well. I like to travel, though I can rarely afford to. I've played the trumpet for years and it's probably the best stress relief I know.  Most of all I love chillin' with friends and playing good, clean, old-fashioned practical jokes.
